The motion intelligence company announced that it has raised $2.2 million in an investment round, which was led by Samsung Venture Investment Corp and Scrum Ventures. The funds will be utilized to continue the expansion of DeepMotion’s Digital Avatar Solutions technology, as well as further hiring, and expansion.
Samsung Venture Investment Corp operates as the investment-arm of the Samsung affiliate companies. The fund’s investment focus aligns closely with “strategic priorities” of Samsung’s core businesses: core operating division, consumer electronics, displays, semiconductors, telecom, and more.
