DatChat, Inc. (NASDAQ: DATS) is engaged as a social media, blockchain and communications company, which offers solutions for users to interact while also protecting privacy and private information. Shares of the social media company are surging 73% through early trading on Monday, March 28, 2022. Over the past three months, DatChat has seen average daily volume of around 3.33 million shares. However, volume of 94.11 million shares or dollar volume of around $264.45 million, has already exchanged hands through early trading.
Shares of DatChat are soaring after the company unveiled its plan to launch a metaverse advertising and NFT monetization platform called VenVūū. In conjunction with the announcement, the company announced it has begun collecting pre-sale registration for its 5,000 VenVūū Dynamic Content NFTs.
The VenVūū platform will allow metaverse landowners and brands to utilize DatChat’s proprietary technology to monetizing their holdings through paid ad campaigns. Brands will be able to run advertising campaigns through the ad network, which will target specific regions and land parcels that they want to reach across multiple metaverses.
Metaverse land owners can utilize the VenVūū Dynamic Content NFTs to link their parcels with the VenVūū protocol. This would allow the land owners to easily opt-in to campaigns that are currently being run by advertisers. Initial formats will be video or static ads, but DatChat says it is working on expanding media formats to include 3D imaging, virtual product placements, wearables, and more.
