So you partied with Prince Harry at some point in his colorful past and you’ve landed an invite to the royal nuptials. Already have your present for the bride and groom? Fly over early and gift wrap a few England based microcaps.
If you want to gift the happy couple something “green” look no further than VivoPower International PLC (NASDAQ: VVPR). Recent excitement in the stock is news to the company. In a press release the company denied any knowledge of why the stock price has gyrated wildly. In early May the stock moved from just over $1 to over $6 before settling back to $2.50.

VivoPower’s business model is to build solar power facilities and transfer ownership to investors. The company is then paid to operate the facilities on behalf of the investors. This is also known as the BOT (build, operate, transfer) or BOOT (build, own, operate, transfer) model.
Instead of making an environmental statement with your gift perhaps you want to go a different way. Maybe you’re inspired to challenge the new royal newlyweds to a game of poker. You’re in luck, Inspired Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: INSE) is based in the heart of London.
Inspired just announced 2nd quarter results that may impress even The Queen. The company increased revenues 33.5% year-over-year (YoY) and decreased their net loss from $9.1 million to only $0.5 million.

Inspired also announced a deal with the Pennsylvania Lottery. As part of the deal they will provide virtual gaming machines to over 9,000 retailers. You can remind Harry that William Penn, a native Londoner himself, named the state after his father.
But you’re on your “A game” and want to really endear yourself to the British monarchy. There is no better way to do this than to give a nod to British naval power. Gift a few shares of Global Ship Lease (NYSE: GSL) also based out of the British capital.
Global recently reported their small and mid-sized fleet is fully booked. Ian Webber, CEO of Global, pointed out that only 1.5% of their entire fleet is idle.

Global has a goal of staggering charter expirations for stable earnings. They also aim to be a small to medium-size ship provider, keeping them out of competition with the big guys.
For the second time this year Global is knocking on resistance at $1.40. A solid break out of its current range could send the stock back to the $1.50 – $2 range it gained late last year.
Impress the royals with your eco-friendly ideas. Remind Harry of sowing his wild oats with a gaming company. Or, bring home British history with a reference to the high seas. Gifting any of these microcaps to the royal couple will ensure you’re invited back to the next royal shindig!
